Your people are your practice.

We partner with independent practices, referral hospitals, graduate schemes and veterinary groups to build teams where people feel safe, seen and able to do their best work, from the reception desk to theatre.

Burnout isn't a you problem. We help individuals own their part, and we work with practices to change the bigger picture too.

"Katie Ford and Claire Grigson, the support that you have given to so many of our recent graduates is absolutely invaluable. When grads use phrases like 'life changing' and 'my self awareness has skyrocketed' you know you've signposted them into safe hands."

The cost of doing nothing

Up to two thirds of a salary

The estimated cost of replacing one veterinary surgeon, before lost income is counted

The profession is facing a retention crisis. Research estimates that replacing a vet can cost around two thirds of their annual salary once you add advertising, agency fees, interviews, onboarding and time to get up to speed. Add the income lost while a post sits empty, and one US study put the total at over $100,000 per vet. Beyond the numbers is the invisible toll: morale when people leave, pressure on those who stay, and knowledge that walks out of the door.

Why Vet Empowered

  • Veterinary-led.

Katie and Claire are vets with nearly 30 years' combined clinical experience. When we say we get it, we mean it.

  • Whole-team inclusive.

Everyone in the practice, no hierarchy, no putting people on the spot.

  • Trauma-informed and psychologically safe.

Taking part is always optional, and people leave feeling better than when they arrived.

  • Evidence-based and usable.

Content people can use the next morning.

  • Engaging and real.

We tell stories, we make people laugh, and even the sceptics come round.
