Our flagship
The Signature Programme
Expert coaching, CPD and a community that genuinely has your back. For vets, vet nurses and the people of vetmed who are ready for what's next.
Time and time again, the people who've done it call it life-changing.
- Six or twelve months
- Weekly live coaching
- Upwards of 35 hours of CPD
- From £1,111 + VAT
The magic isn't in the content. It's in being pickled in it.
For six or twelve months you're part of a supportive, non-judgemental community. You learn together, you celebrate the wins together, and you have space to reflect somewhere kind and psychologically safe. You've committed to change, and you have an anchor to keep coming back to. And it's more than a community: experienced veterinary coaches are with you every week.
Is this you?
- You're good at your job, and still it never feels like enough
- You're the one everyone leans on, and you're not sure who you lean on
- You've already done some work on yourself and you're ready for what's next
- You've burned out before and you don't want to go back there
- You say yes when you mean no
- Work has quietly become your whole identity
- You're curious about coaching, maybe even supporting others one day
- You'd love to be around kind, forward-thinking people who get it
Five years in or twenty-five, vet, vet nurse or part of the wider team: you'd be in very good company.
"This has changed my life, changed my outlook both at work and home and has quite possibly saved my career that I've always wanted and worked so hard to get to."
What's included
Think of it like a gym membership for personal development, with expert personal trainers. We bring the equipment and the coaching. You bring yourself.
Live coaching
Weekly group coaching on Zoom, Wednesdays at 7pm or 8pm UK time, whichever suits you that week. A monthly personal development discussion, and Sunday evening journaling and meditation.
Signature content
Six core modules of pre-recorded content and a workbook, to go through at your own pace.
Resource library
Meditations, somatic tools, bonus webinars with expert guests and our Veterinary Career Creator Workbook.
Community
A WhatsApp group with your cohort and the coaching team, so you're never waiting weeks to ask a question.
Live coaching isn't recorded, to keep the space safe and confidential. Everything else is on demand.
The community
Be part of an incredible community.
There's a different way to do vetmed, and there's a whole community of veterinary professionals already finding it. People reconnecting with themselves, setting boundaries that hold, and measuring success on their own terms.
The programme runs online, so you can join from wherever you are. We love how deeply we connect with people this way, and it's even better when we get to see them in person. You'll often find us meeting up at conferences, and we're always thrilled when Signature Programme members come along to our live events.
Here's a little of the vibe of being part of Vet Empowered.

What makes it different
- 01
We work on identity
Not just limiting beliefs. We help you reconnect with who you are beneath the job title, the one-in-400-trillion human you've always been.
- 02
Egos at the door
Your post-nominals don't matter here. Students, nurses, specialists and practice managers sit side by side.
- 03
Out of your head, into your body
Somatic tools and nervous system work, so change isn't only something you think about.
- 04
Kindness is the secret sauce
Sometimes you need a hug, sometimes a kind kick up the butt. We do both, with care.
- 05
Evidence meets meaning
Evidence-based tools alongside reflection, mindfulness and purpose. You don't have to choose.
- 06
We stay with you
We don't hand you worksheets and run. Real coaches, every week, for the whole programme.

Two vets who've sat where you're sitting.
Is now the right time?
It's a great fit if
- You're ready to commit to change and keep showing up
- You like learning with and from other people
- You can give it one to two hours a week across live calls, content and recordings
- You're open, curious and kind, and learning to be kind to yourself too
The timing might not be right if
- You need space to explore past experiences in depth. That's the work of therapy, and we won't take you back into childhood.
- You're in crisis right now, or in the middle of intensive mental health support or diagnostics
- You're hoping someone will do the work for you. This asks you to be self-directed.
- You'd rather not be part of a group
You don't need to have had therapy to join. And if now isn't the right time, we'll tell you honestly and point you somewhere helpful. Sometimes the kindest answer is 'not yet'.

Led by vets who've been there.
Katie and Claire are vets and qualified coaches with nearly 30 years of combined clinical experience. They created the programme and still coach in it every week, alongside Beth and Alex, accredited veterinary coaches who came through the programme themselves.
Meet the team"It has given me the confidence and skills to return to practice (after leaving the profession 8 years ago due to stress) in a more mentally sustainable and healthy manner."
"I wish I'd started the process sooner."
In their own words

"One of the best investments in me I have ever made."
What could change
Imagine being so sure of who you are and what matters to you that you treat yourself with compassion, while knowing you can absolutely kick ass.
Imagine being surrounded by like-minded, like-hearted people in the profession who grow with you and rock the boat together, in a good way.
Imagine stepping past other people's expectations and judgement, and writing your own story.
Imagine a toolkit of things that genuinely help you, and understanding yourself on a deeper level.
Imagine understanding others in a totally different way: clients, colleagues and the people you love.
Imagine your version of balance, in action.
Imagine the difference that could make over six or twelve months.
The best part? You don't have to imagine.
See how to joinPerfect doesn't exist. Progress, community and a bit of courage do.
Investment
Less than the cost of a two to three-day surgical CPD course, and you have us for six or twelve months. Many employers fund places, and we can invoice your practice directly.
Six months: £1,111 + VAT, or six monthly payments of £199 + VAT.
That's around £6 a day if you're self-funding.
Could your employer fund this? Ask your employer
- Prefer longer? Twelve months: £1,888 + VAT, or twelve monthly payments of £169 + VAT. Around £5 a day. You can barely get a meal deal for that.
- Want 1:1 support too? Six months plus five 1:1 sessions with a support coach: £1,999 + VAT in total.
- Twelve months plus six 1:1 sessions with a support coach: £2,777 + VAT in total. 1:1 sessions can be used during the programme and for up to six months after.
- Need to ask your employer? Share our Practice Guide with them, and if you're not sure how to start that conversation, tell us and we'll help.
Prices exclude VAT. Coaching, content and webinars can count towards your RCVS CPD, logged and reflected on in 1CPD.
How to join
- 1
Fill in the short application. It tells us you're seriously considering it, not that you're signed up.
- 2
Claire reads every application personally and arranges a relaxed discovery call. If you're funding your place yourself, you can book your call straight from the form. No sales script and no ironed shirt required. Our pets will probably join the call.
- 3
If it's a good fit for both of us, you join the next group. New groups start every one to two months.
If your employer is funding your place, we'll give you a few days after the call to think it over, and you come back to us when you're ready. No pressure, ever.
Questions people ask
Can my practice pay?
Yes. We can invoice your practice directly, and we're set up as a supplier with many of the large veterinary groups.
What if I know someone in the group?
Everyone agrees to confidentiality, and most people find the group becomes one of the best parts.
Is this coaching or therapy?
Coaching. It's future-focused and practical. If you're under the care of a mental health professional, please talk to them before joining. If you're struggling right now, Vetlife is there 24/7 on 0303 040 2551.
I'm neurodivergent. Is the programme right for me?
It might be, and we'd love to talk it through with you. We'll be open and honest: we're not ADHD or autism coaches and we won't be teaching you ADHD coping strategies, but there are brilliant organisations that focus on exactly that, and we're happy to point you towards them. What we are is veterinary coaches who aren't scared of neurodivergence. There's lived experience of it within our team, and members of our team have done additional CPD, including a neurodiversity deep dive for coaches. We know neurodivergence reaches far beyond ADHD and autism, and that everyone is an individual with their own needs. That fits how we work with everyone. Every person is unique, so there are no cookie-cutter approaches or hard-and-fast rules here. We always share lots of different options and encourage you to find what actually works for you. We'll help you understand your strengths, take the judgement off, and build self-compassion, which we've found helps almost everyone, whatever's going on. And you'll be part of a community that includes other neurodivergent people.Every place starts with a discovery call, so we can work out together whether it's the right fit for you.
I'm outside the UK. Can I join?
Yes. Sessions run on UK evenings and prices are in GBP. Email us if the timing is tricky.
What if I change my mind, or life gets in the way?
Talk to us. We're a small, human team, and we'd always rather have a conversation than leave you worrying. Reach out and we'll work it through with you.If you're in the UK, under UK consumer rules for online courses, you can cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund (minus any sessions or content you've already used). After that, we don't offer refunds, but if life gets in the way, we'll always look at extending your access.Lots of people book three or four weeks before their group starts, and that's completely fine. New groups start every one to two months, and there are usually at least two live calls a week to choose from, plus our Sunday night sessions, so there's often a way to make it fit around your life.
Everyone is different. We can't guarantee specific outcomes, but we can promise we'll be with you every step as long as you keep showing up too. Individual results vary. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, counselling or crisis support. Submitting an application doesn't guarantee a place.
