Who we are
This website is run by Vet Empowered Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14348243), registered office 41 Stonebreaks Road, Saddleworth, OL4 4BZ. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, and we're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZB393893). You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@vetempowered.com.
What we collect
We collect information you give us when you: fill in our contact form (name, email, organisation, enquiry details); apply for coaching or the Signature Programme through our Google Forms (the information you choose to share, which may include details about your work and wellbeing); book a call through Calendly; join our mailing list or sign up for a free resource such as the 3-Day Reset (name and email); buy a course (handled by our course and payment providers); or email or message us. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect information about how you use our website, such as pages visited and the type of device and browser you use.
How we use it
To reply to enquiries and arrange discovery calls (legitimate interests, or steps before a contract). To deliver coaching, programmes, courses and workshops you've booked (contract). To send our newsletter and free resources when you've signed up (consent, which you can withdraw at any time). To meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation). To understand how our website is used and improve it, only if you've accepted analytics cookies (consent). Anything you share about your health or wellbeing in an application is used only to make sure our support is right for you, with your explicit consent, and is kept confidential.
Our website forms and where your information is stored
When you use our contact form, Practice Guide form or application form, we collect the details you type in: your name, email address and message, plus anything else on that form. The Practice Guide form also asks for your organisation, role and, optionally, team size.
Contact enquiries and Practice Guide requests are stored securely in a database provided by Supabase, the service behind our website's forms, which holds this information on our behalf in London, UK (eu-west-2). Our application form is hosted by Google Forms, so applications are held by Google rather than in this website database. The information about our providers below also applies to applications.
We use these details only to reply to you, send you what you asked for and look after our records. The sections below explain who helps us deliver your requests and how long we keep your details.
See Your rights below to ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
Practice Guide requests
When you request our Practice Guide, we store your name, email, organisation, role and team size so we can understand who we're helping and follow up if you'd like us to. With your consent, your first name and email are passed to Mailchimp so we can send you the guide and a few follow-up emails. We tag your request as "Practice Guide" so we know what you've asked for.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run our business: Supabase (website form storage), Mailchimp (email), Resend (to email enquiry details to our team), Google (Forms and Workspace), Calendly (booking calls), Teachable (courses and checkout), ThriveCart (free webinars), Zoom (webinar registration and programme delivery), WhatsApp (programme delivery), YouTube (embedded videos, which may set cookies when played), Spotify (embedded podcast player, which may set cookies when played), our website host, and our accountants. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place. We don't sell your information or pass it on to anyone else for their own marketing.
When you sign up for a free resource, such as the Practice Guide or the 3-Day Reset, or join our newsletter, we add your name and email address to our Mailchimp email list with your consent so we can send you what you asked for. We tag you with the resource you signed up for so we know what you've requested. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails.
How long we keep it
For enquiries and Practice Guide requests: We keep your details only for as long as we need them to reply to you and for our records. We keep client records for six years after our work together ends, and financial records for six years as required by law. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to move elsewhere. Email hello@vetempowered.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
Our website uses the cookies it needs to work. Google Analytics is not running, and our analytics cookie banner and cookie settings are switched off. If we add analytics in future, we will ask for your consent before loading it and give you a way to change your choice. Embedded content from other sites, such as Spotify and YouTube, may set its own cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
