The Vet Empowered Podcast
Your veterinary big sisters, in your ears. Honest, cuppa-style chats about vetmed, boundaries, confidence, careers and being a human beyond the job title.
Listen on SpotifyPop the kettle on
Join Katie Ford and Claire Grigson, two vets and coaches, for real stories, research, practical tools and the occasional magic trick. From boundaries and confidence to career curveballs, grief, hormones and what's really going on behind the scenes at Vet Empowered, these are the conversations we wish someone had been having when we started out. You're more than a job title, after all.
We don't release on a strict schedule. Life happens, and we'd rather show up when we've got something worth saying. (Our record for an accidental break is eight months. We're not proud. We're a bit proud.)

Meet your hosts
Katie and Claire are vets with nearly 30 years in clinical practice between them, and the co-founders of Vet Empowered. They've coached hundreds of veterinary professionals, and they still can't record an episode without at least one tangent about one of Katie's cats, a vintage purchase, or a local daytime rave.
More about usGot a question for a future episode?
Agony aunt episodes are some of our favourites. Send us your question, and we might answer it on the show. We'll never share your name unless you want us to.

Listen on SpotifyEverything we share is general insight, not gospel. You're a unique human being, and your situation deserves depth. Coaching isn't a substitute for therapy or crisis support. If you're struggling, Vetlife is there 24/7 on 0303 040 2551.
